WE ARE chartered as an affiliate member of the Penn State Alumni Association, promote and support the Pennsylvania State University, and serve the Hampton Roads community.

FAVORITE PENN STATE MEMORY: Summer '78, brothers of Delta Tau Delta went "full HGTV" on the newly acquired shelter at 429 E Hamilton Ave. We knocked down drywall and did all sorts of demolition to prepare to move in Fall '78. After five days of stripping paint and staining wood, it was absolutely beautiful. I remember one of the brother's Mom say, "you guys will make great husbands."

While working in East Halls during the football team's summer practice, Joe Paterno approached me after reading my name tag and asked if I was related to Thom Palko ('69)! He is my Dad, who worked with the football team when he was at Penn State in the first years of Paterno being head coach.
